The Basics of a Knowledge Base

Why they exist.

The basic function of a knowledge base is to be able to assist in knowledge access to team members.

This ranges from new process information, or ensuring systemic knowledge isn't lost when people leave the organization.

It allows this to be used on an as needed basis to be available at any time without the need of engaging secondary parties.
